Upper Tampa Bay Education Foundation informational Mixer

Dear Friends and Community Members,

Please join us for an Upper Tampa Bay Community Mixer on Thursday, April 23 at 4:00-7:00 pm at Let's Co! located at 301 Woodlands Pkwy., Suite 3, Oldsmar, FL. This free event will offer networking and the opportunity to learn more about the Upper Tampa Bay Education Foundation (UTBEF).

Each year, UTBEF partners with the Hillsborough Education Foundation (HEF) and the Pinellas Education Foundation (PEF) to gather scholarship applications from local high school students. Applicants are evaluated based on volunteer service, community involvement, academic performance, intended studies at Florida colleges, and a personal essay outlining their goals, ambitions, and family circumstances.

This year, UTBEF board members reviewed more than 120 applications—31 from HEF (Alonso, Leto, and Sickles High Schools) and 90 from PEF (East Lake and Countryside High Schools). From this impressive group, UTBEF awarded five deserving high school seniors with scholarships of $2,000 each.
