UTBC Golf Tournament 2026 - VFW 12186 Top of the Bay

Description

The Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce hosts an annual golf tournament to unite businesses and support local nonprofit organizations.

This year, we are excited to offer you the opportunity to play at the famous Westchase Golf Club. The tournament takes place on September 11th, a significant date in our history and marking the start of the Global War On Terrorism (GWOT) era, in which many of our veterans served.

The UTB Chamber proudly selected to highlight our local VFW Post & Auxiliary 12186, whose focus is on veteran and family outreach and advocacy throughout our community.

Chamber Spotlight

The Veterans of Foreign Wars, founded in 1899 and chartered by Congress in 1936, is a nonprofit organization for military veterans who served in foreign conflicts and now serve along with their families through its Auxiliary.

The VFW national entity provides organizational structure and advocates for legislative affairs related to earned benefits and recognition for these service members and their families. 

VFW Post 12186, established in 2019, focuses on providing resource assistance, volunteer opportunities, networking, and camaraderie for veterans and their families. 

Located at the "Top of the Bay," the team at VFW 12186 has received All-American honors and serves as a resource space for veterans.  We  enhance our opportunities through partnerships with organizations like the UTBC and Oldsmar Cares to earn the operating costs required and resource support as needed.
