SUMMARY:Oldsmar Candidate Forum
DESCRIPTION:Candidate Forum Format Welcome to the 2026 Oldsmar Candidate Forum\nThank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to attend. The roots and strength of our democracy start at the community level. The individuals choosing to seek elective office at this level do so at the purest form of democratic governance they are truly citizen servants and it is you\, the citizens that are here to listen to their ideas and visions and hold them accountable as they serve through your continued involvement. Our purpose tonight is to have you meet those choosing to seek election this year and hear them out.\nThe League of Women Voters will moderate the forum and serve as timekeeper.Tanya Landry will moderate the forum and ask the questions. The timekeeper will provide a prompt 30 seconds warning prior to candidate response time being up. She will raise a Stop notice when time has expired\nOnce the introductions have been completedEach candidate will have two minutes to tell you about themselves and their goals as your representative. This will be followed by a round of questions each candidate will have one minute to respond.Questions will be rotated among candidates to ensure all get a chance to be first in the barrel.Approximately fifteen minutes prior to the end of the forum each candidate will be provide the opportunity to ask the other candidates one questionFinally each candidate will be provided two minutes to summarize their candidacy.\nQuestions have been collected by the League of Women Voters North Pinellas County and have not been shared with the candidates. We will also take written questions from the audience. There are note cards and pens available at the back of the room. Questions of a personal nature are discouraged and we ask that all questions focus on issues of importance to the city of Oldsmar and the candidates perspective on these topics. We will attempt to get to all the questions as time constraints permit.
