Description
The Pinellas County Real Estate Agents Flood Disclosure Program is a joint effort between Pinellas County Government and the Pinellas REALTOR® Organization, working to help ensure that real estate professionals let potential buyers know whether a property is in a flood zone and if flood insurance is required.
9AM-10AM: Pinellas County Property Appraiser Mike Twitty demonstrates the powerful features of the new website designed to help real estate professionals in their daily work. He will also present property tax related scenarios that will keep both you and your clients from potential costly missteps. Gain a deeper understanding of the “Save Our Homes” cap and Portability, learn about recent tax law changes, see the ease of use and flexibility of the tax estimator and learn about value trends and potential COVID-19 value impacts.
10:00am - 12:00pm - Flood Risks, Flood Map Service and the Real Estate Flood Information and Disclosure Brochure-Pinellas County staff will provide an overview of the program and instruction to utilize the Pinellas County Online Flood Map Service and the Flood Information and Disclosure Brochure at this free training session.
