After Hurricane Milton caused us to postpone our musical at RE Olds Stage, we have now rescheduled the performance and the show will go on!!! Performed by OPAL Theater at the Elizabeth Smith Amphitheater Stage brought to by Oldsmar Friends of the Arts, Inc
at RE Olds Park, 107 Shore Drive W, Oldsmar
Saturday, Dec 21, 2024 at 7:00pm with Food Vendors opening at 6:00pm
 
 

PRESS RELEASE: Oldsmar, FL Sunday Oct 20, 2024 - Disney’s FROZEN JR. is now rescheduled to be performed by over 30 members of our OPAL Theater Cast at the Elizabeth Smith Amphitheater Stage at RE Olds Park on Saturday, DEC 21, 2024 at 7:00pm. Join us for ‘Dinner and a Show’ with local vendors Pit Stop on Wheels BBQ and Uncle Dave’s Kettle Corn opening at 6:00pm for our guests to purchase dinner and enjoy while watching this FREE live musical performance.
 
Do you want to build a snowman? You’ll love this fanciful and heartwarming stage adaptation of the top-grossing animated film of all time! Join Anna, Elsa, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love. Adapted for young performers and based on the 2013 Disney film and the 2018 Broadway adaptation, this musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as “Love Is an Open Door,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” and “Let It Go,” as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production. With its empowering message of love and understanding, Frozen JR. is sure to melt your heart!
 
FROZEN JR. is led by Director and Choreographer, Suda Yantiss-Colon and Musical Director Jody Carr-Smith and is sponsored by Oldsmar Friends of the Arts, Inc. a 501(c)3 charitable organization, and is our 10^th production created for our community to enjoy under the stars at RE Olds Park. OPAL (Oldsmar Performing Artists League) Theater is a 20 plus year program with the City of Oldsmar offering students ages 8-18 the opportunity to learn music, choreography, staging, costumes, sets, scenery and more in this family atmosphere program, providing low cost tuition for all participants. “Our goal is that every child has a chance to participate in Performing Arts programs, no matter their background or skill levels, in a low cost theater program that can be enjoyed by all in our community in a final, live onstage performance.”
