Honor Our Heroes 5k 2026

On Saturday, 23 May 2026, and in recognition of Memorial Day, Oldsmar Cares is proud to announce the Honor Our Heroes 5k Memorial Run. We are excited to continue our collaboration and veteran outreach with VFW Post 12186.

Our two distinguished nonprofit organizations are a 100% all-volunteer force. We are working together for a better community, and all net proceeds from the event will support our efforts to serve residents, families, veterans, and community projects.

We begin near City Hall and participants will be led past Veterans’ Memorial Park and along the beautiful shores at the “Top of the Bay.” Whether you're a competitive runner, a laid-back jogger, a dog-walking pro, or just along for the ride in a stroller, we welcome everyone!  Come out for this great event with a bunch of prizes, trophies, raffles, and more. Enjoy beverages from our friends at TBBC and food from Three Brothers NY Pizza.

All Sponsors may contribute materials for swag bags given to all participants and set up promotional booths near the start/finish line to showcase their business.
